NYC STORE FRONTS BY RANDY HAGE
Opening:Sat, May 19, 7 pm - 10 pm
Exhibition: May 19 - June 21, 2012
Visual artist, Randy Hage, has always been fascinated by the character and often overlooked beauty of aging structures. In the late 90's he began a photography project which quickly grew into a documentary project as well. Hage's work not only seeks to preserve a vision of the past, but also to call attention to the loss of established and diverse neighborhoods as they fall victim to large scale redevelopment. Hage's sculptures represent more than fading facades, they honor the very soul of the city...its people.
