Artist Statement:
“As a Los Angeles native I have made many memories on the bustling streets. With every moment I spend in the city I find myself lost within the culture, music and landscape. The spirit of it inspires me and my artwork. My aesthetic is line, shape, color and pattern. I associate colors and shape with emotion. As I grew as an artist I started to understand the values of these simple fundamental forms. I use color, shape and line in each of my pieces to convey these emotions. Photographs are a dominate feature in most of my artwork because I love the raw emotion it convey’s. My work is gritty, colorful and embodies the essence of soul and imagination. My artwork fits in magazine editorials, prints and/or galleries. My art’s versatility has been seen in the LA center theater, Sound Cloud, in multiple L.A galleries and on the streets of Hollywood. With art there is reinvention and I am proud to recreate myself with every piece.”
