Artist Biography:
Poul Hans Lange came to New York City from his native Denmark in 1990. Working both as a designer and an illustrator, he developed his distinctive collage style with a fine art approach. He had 3 gallery shows in New York before starting to use collages in an illustrative context. Ranging from near-abstract to not-too-extreme realism this style lends itself well to conceptional illustration. In two or three dimensions and often incorporating type fragments or whole narratives, these illustrations really tell the story.
