Artist Statement About This Piece:
The diplomatic mission of Animamaly visited the Great Panda continent! The cat delegation received a very warm welcome by cute ‘xiong-mao’s! They rode a lovely red taxi, and picked lots of green fish from long green trees. What a paradise!
Artist Biography and Statement:
Shanghee Shin is an illustrator based in Seattle. She graduated from Art center College of Design at Pasadena, CA as illustration major in 2011. Animamaly, which is a whimsical world created by her, depicts unique and lovely animals and nature. These are stories of animals and human civilization without human being. They have the social ladder in their own way, and they act like humans, or sometimes they just stuck in everywhere.
