Artist Biography:
Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Acey is an artist  based in Portland, Oregon, where she lives with her husband (painter Marcus Gannuscio) and Jasper, their Catahoula Leopard Dog.

Acey’s media of choice is anything water-based (watercolor, gouache, ink), perhaps because she is a water sign (Scorpio). However, she also uses chalk pastel and graphite from time to time.

Recently, five of Acey’s dog artworks were featured in the book 1,000 Dog Portraits: From The People Who Love Them, curated by Robynne Raye of Modern Dog Design in Seattle, Washington.

She likes pickles.
