Junhee Sim was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She is the former fashion journalist/reporter for the Premium Section of the JoongAng Ilbo(daily), and the assistant fashion editor at Cosmopolitan Korea. After 4 years of experience in the fashion media, she had made a decision to study Fine Art and moved to the States to attend Art Center College of Design, where she received her BFA in Illustration/Fine Art in 2012.

Her work is described by one as being “humorous playfulness” While others talk about her work as having a high sense of color in a abstract and simple shape.
