Artist Statement and Biography:
“I am an artist and illustrator whose work is sometimes the size of a pecan! I enjoy making zines, children’s books and art multiples. Elementary school humor seems to pour out uncontrollably in my work probably due to heavy consumption of coffee and useless information. My name pronounced in Swedish means “what the hell,” which I learned while studying for my master’s degree in Stockholm. I’ve been thawing out since in Oakland, California, sharing a studio with my husband and a cat that occupies our desktop.”
